Omenapuiden kukinta oli nopea tana vuonna. Merelta tuuli kovasti meille asti ja se yhdistettyna lampimaan saahan aukaisi kukat nopeasti ja myos repi teralehdet muutamassa paivassa. Mutta kaunista oli, ja vaikka kuinka oli kiire maatilan toiden ja lasten kanssa, otin tuokioita tallentaakseni tuoksuja muistiin talven varalle.

Apple trees were blooming... But it was a quick one this year. Weather was hot and windy, so one had to be quick to sniff the flowers and get photos. I wish the smell could be added into the photos!

I left farmwork and had a great sauna evening with my gym instructor collegues. The temperature changed quickly from +22 centigrades to + 9, and the fog from the sea was unreal. But I had my first swim! How refreshing it is to laugh, talk complete nonsense and little bit serious stuff, and spend time with great people!

 Sitten saapuivat helteet -ihanat, ihanat helteet! Mika korvaamaton naky oli se ensimmainen aamu, kun paastin lapset alastomina ovesta ulos aamupalan jalkeen, ja aurinko ja lammin tuuli leikkivat paljaalla iholla. Onnille ensimmainen kerta, Emmi-Sofia misti kavelleensa paljain varpain ennenkin.


Then we were spoiled with hot, HOT weather! It was actually hotter here than in Southern France... What a priceless scene was the first morning when kids were able to walk out with no clothes on. Warm sun on thier white skins, mild breeze cutting the power of the heat. Onni was so confused, Emmi-Sofia remembered walking with no shoes on before.

Minulla oli urakkaa: 3800 kuusentainta istutettavana. Yksin. +31 astetta hakkuuaukolla. Mahtava rusketus palkkana!

I had a massive tasks to be done: 3800 wee spruce plants to be planted. On my own. +31 centigrades, open area in the middle of the forest. I'm tanned, more than tanned!
